[Book] Art books – Touken Ranbu Kenran Zuroku Vol.2

It’s been a while since I did a post on an art book, though there aren’t a lot of art books that pique my interest or I just forget about writing one as soon as I get a good art book. Though one art book that I love to look at is the Touken Ranbu Official Art Book and upon hearing that they’re releasing a second volume for the newer sword boyos I decided to get one right away.

This’ll be a short review. I originally ‘reviewed’ the first volume in my first game diary on Touken Ranbu which you can check out here. I wouldn’t call it a review but it’s something.

[Magazine – extras] B’s Log Pinups (July ’16 issue ~ February ’17 issue)

This post had a long time coming and finally I got around doing it. All the pinups in this post has been collected from July issue ~ February issue of B’s Log (released between May 2016 and December 2016).

There’s a total of around 23 posters if I’m counting right, from all sorts of series such as: DYNAMIC CHORD, CollarxMalice, Blackish House, Tokimeki Restaurant, I Chu and Link a Nation/Rinka Nation. I tried my best to scan them to share with you all. Sorry if it isn’t the best quality, I’m working with a very finicky printer/scanner here 😅 Please enjoy.

[Magazine – extras] Oniichannel Pinups & Short Stories (July ’16 Issue – February ’17 Issue)

Considering the big pile up of B’s Log magazines I’ve been collecting, I’ve decided to get around doing some posts using the contents I found in the magazines. It won’t be in-depth as my previous magazine posts but I felt like I should share some extra things like posters.

Enjoy these Oniichannel pinups in the meantime while I try to scan and stitch together the others. I wish I could translate the short stories but there’s a lot and I’m still inexperienced to give a “pro” translations.

[Magazine] Ensemble Stars! Magazine – Vol.4 Ra*bits

Ensemble Stars! Magazine is a new series of mooks/magazine books from Dengeki, particularly the Girl’s Style division. Each magazine volume is dedicated to each unit from Enstars and I decided to dip my toes into this series of magazines with a unit I hold close to my heart, Ra*bits.

For anyone whos a big fan of a certain unit, you’ll find the contents of these magazines to be very fulfilling.

[Magazine] Spotlight – Ensemble Stars! magazine (feat. vol.1 Trickstar)

Volume 1 will focus on Trickstar

Ensemble Stars gets its very own magazine! Starting from August 29, 2016 (today), they will release a volume focusing on one Unit each month for about 10 months (there will be 10 Volumes in total). The first volume to be released will focus on Trickstar and will cost 1,200 yen (plus tax). The next volumes will be as followed:

• Vol.2 – Knights (Release in late September)
• Vol.3 – 2wink (Release in late October)
• Vol.4 – Ra*bits (Release in late November)
• Vol.5 – Ryuseitai (Release in late December)

Note that they’ve only released the dates for the volumes until December 2016, they’ve yet to release information on the remaining 5 volumes and which Unit will be in which volume. The remaining units are: fine, UNDEAD, Valkyrie, Akatsuki and the new unit ‘Switch’. Each volume will probably have the Unit’s Leader as the cover.

[Book] Ensemble Stars Official Fanbook

Sorry for not posting for a while. Been busy with Enstars events and trying to figure out how to make better quality scans (tho I decided to go and buy a new & better one, one day…)

[Book] Spotlight – Ensemble Stars Official Visual Fanbook

In commemoration for Enstars 1st Anniversary, they are releasing a visual fanbook! (Possibly something close to an artbook) The book will release on the 30th of June, which is just a few days from now, and will go on for sale at 3,500 yen (3,780 yen with tax). I’m just gonna run down with some of the stuff I know. Shopping links are found below!

Sorry for delaying this one. I’ve been waiting to do a post about it since around April/May. Better late than never. Tho this one will be a short one because its a pretty thin magazine.

I got the Animate Set which included 4 Badges of UNDEAD. Worth the money? Prolly 😆

[Magazine] B’s Log May Issue 2016 – (March)

Sorry for the wait. I could’ve just skipped this issue but because this one marks my one year of purchasing B’s Log I thought I may as well do it anyway (even if its old news now).

Without B’s Log I wouldn’t have gotten into Enstars, hell it was the first form of media that introduced me to Enstars. So I’m grateful for this magazine being the number 1 cause of me falling into Enstars hell. Also having all these magazines make a really good step ladder for when I need to reach stuff lol.

I’m gonna try to make this one quick! Also heads up, the image quality for some of these images might be poor because I’m using another website to host these images because they’re too damn big 😆 so I’m sorry guys.

[Magazine] 🔞Cool-B – March 2016 Vol.66

I should’ve written up a post on this last month but I guess I was too busy lol. Now I have two Cool-B magazines to write up on. Oh boy.

This issue came with a bonus original R18 BL game with full voice acting, tho I never got around to playing it, also  I was intimidated by the thought of puzzles/quiz.

Be prepared for another wild ride of me badly censoring dicks in the scans.
