[Vtuber] Information on Upcoming “hololive production COUNTDOWN LIVE 2023▷2024 -HOLOSTARS side-“

It’s that time of the year again! It’s time to say goodbye to 2023 and ring in the new year, and if you’re a fan of Hololive Production, you’re treated with not one but two free countdown live performances just hours before it hits midnight on December 31st (in Japan).

Hololive Production’s countdown lives are making a return! Similar to last year, Hololive JP/ID/EN branches will have their own countdown stream performing multiple songs and Holostars JP will have their own countdown stream featuring collaboration performances with Hololive ID and EN!

For this article, I’ll mainly focus on delivering information for the Holostars side of the countdown live!

So let’s check a look.

[Vtuber] “Hololive Super Expo 2024” Info for Overseas Holostars Fans

Starting from 2022, Hololive Production, a Vtuber Talent Agency, has been holding an annual Expo that fans can attend during the span of a weekend (2-days) in March.

The expo encapsulates all aspects of Hololive Production, including both Hololive and Holostars branches to have special booths and activities at the expo.

Hololive Super Expo 2024 has been announced to take place in March 16 ~ 17, 2024! This time they seem to be more overseas friendly where they include packages for overseas fans (tickets, accommodation, merch etc in one package) as well as a separate ticketing site specifically made for oversea fans in mind.

Last Expo I was super unlucky in getting tickets because the ‘overseas’ general sales tickets were sold out within less than a minute, but hopefully this time more overseas fans have a better chance.

So let’s check a look at what Hololive Super Expo 2024 has to offer for Holostars fans and how overseas fans can get the chance to get a ticket to meet their oshi.

[PC] Review – Holostars EN Original Visual Novel “Doppelgänger”

Here it is, my once a year review of a visual novel and of course Holostars had to be the main driving force for me to write up this review 😳 The brainworms go deep.

Doppelgänger is an original visual novel created by the Holostars EN Team (basically the managers of the team got together to make this for the fans. Thank you mane-sans!) as a Halloween project for Holostars EN in 2023.

The visual novel itself is more on the darker side and is non-romance focused (debatable in some routes), so for the fam reading this at home, don’t label this as an otome game lol.

This will be as spoiler-free as possible, but if you want to read my overall thoughts you can skip to “Final Thoughts“.

[Vtuber] Holostars EN Introduces New Unit “Holostars English -ARMIS-” — Debut Nov. 17~18 (PST/EST)

It’s that time again fam and a lot of us was pretty much not expecting it (same went for the Vanguard boys’ debut announcement). But hey, it’s a pleasant surprise, that’s for sure.

Cover Corp / Hololive Production announced today (Nov. 16 JST) that four new members of Holostars English will debut on November 17 and November 18 (PST/EST). Their unit is called “Holostars English -ARMIS-“, aka “HoloARMIS” or “ARMIS” for short.

They have the same lore setting as the TEMPUS boys except they are not part of the guild, instead they are a group of bounty hunters.

[Vtuber] Report — Holostars’ Vtuber Unit UPROAR!!’s 1st Anniversary Super Live BLAST OUT!!

On March 31st, 2023, all-male Vtuber Unit “UPROAR!!” of Holostars (Hololive Production) celebrated their 1st Anniversary–it has been 1 year since they debuted in 29~30 March, 2022.

To celebrate, they invited everyone to bare witness to their very first solo live performance as a unit, performing original songs and song covers. All for free and available to watch endlessly on YouTube, by the way.
