[Otome Spotlight] Otome Games Coming to The West in 2021~2022

As my first video game love, Akihiko from Persona 3, would say… “I’ve been waiting for this”.

Now that Aksys has done their new title announcement stream yesterday, July 6th, and Idea Factory International did theirs a couple weeks back, I can make a compilation and a digest of the games that are announced and ready to release within the timeframe of 2021 and 2022.

This post will be mainly focusing on commercial otome games (mostly the “blockbuster” type of commercial otome games) that have been confirmed for localisation and maybe a little speculation on my part.

So let’s check a look.

I have to apologise for not writing this up immediately, I’m sure there are other blogs out there that have published their Otomate Party report (and probably have done a better job than me) but I promised myself to always make a roundup post of what was announced at Otomate Party… so here I am.

It’s that time of year again. Otomate holds a big party for about 3 days to announce new games and stuf, if you want to witness it first hand you’ll have to purchase tickets to attend otherwise you’ll have to wait like the rest of us until Otomate party is over and they start uploading new trailers to their youtube channel.

Of course, I am of one those people who just waited for things to be announced on youtube. For once I’d like to attend just to see what’s it all about on the inside of Otomate Party, but I’m guessing it’ll be a long time until I get the chance to go lol.
