It’s that time again fam and a lot of us was pretty much not expecting it (same went for the Vanguard boys’ debut announcement). But hey, it’s a pleasant surprise, that’s for sure.

Cover Corp / Hololive Production announced today (Nov. 16 JST) that four new members of Holostars English will debut on November 17 and November 18 (PST/EST). Their unit is called “Holostars English -ARMIS-“, aka “HoloARMIS” or “ARMIS” for short.

They have the same lore setting as the TEMPUS boys except they are not part of the guild, instead they are a group of bounty hunters.

Throughout my blog I will be using these words. For ease of use and better understanding I will add them here:

Josei-muke Game - Lit. "Female-oriented Game". Games aimed towards girls/women. Not explicitly romance based but tends to have a large cast of male characters.
Otome Game - Games that are romance focused and has a female protagonist, directed towards girls/women. A good amount of otome games are visual novels.
BL Game - Lit. "Boys Love Game". Games that are romance based between men as you play a male protagonist. A good amount of BL games are visual novels.

Visual Novel - Can be interactive (dialogue options) or kinetic (no dialogue options, a linear story). These are heavily plot based, often involving romance but can be non-romantic. Comes in many genres (mystery, horror, thriller, drama). Can have multiple endings and character routes. Do not confuse with "Dating Sim".
Dating Sim - A type of "romance game" where you improve your stats, give gifts to romantic interests and go on dates in hopes to raise your affection with a love interest. Not plot heavy. Do not confuse with "Visual Novel".
