[2021 Recap & Review] A Lifetime Contained in 1 Year

For real it felt like I lived at least 20 years worth of life events within this one year and this post’s title best describes what I felt about this year.

Just when we all hoped 2021 would be better than 2020 it just gets worse, huh.

For new readers or for readers who may forget what’s the point of these end of year recaps, basically I try my best to remember all sorts of stuff that happened in otome/josei-muke news, what I did during the year and small bite size reviews of those things I did/watch/play during 2021. I also have a lil summary of blog stats too. I’ll add a lil navigation thingy to make it easier to jump to the sections you want to read and skip the stuff you don’t want to.

So without further adieu, Billy’s (totally on time and not written and posted in the year of 2022) 2021 in a recap!

As always this one is gonna be a long read so get comfortable and probably mark the spot where you last read if you’re gonna take breaks (or stop reading lol).

[2020 Recap & Review] What can I say but…

Yikes.

I think this is probably the only year that all of us as a collective can say we did not like 2020 one bit. If you did think 2020 was good/great then… idk what to say to you lol.

Again, just like 2019’s recap post I am writing this from the future of 2021 (January 1st). But let’s pretend I actually buckled down on the 31st of December 2020 to write this post before midnight strikes. Like usual, my end of year recap & review posts are basically a way for me to dump some quick reviews of stuff I didn’t get around making dedicated posts for because I was either A) Lazy or B) Didn’t have time to finish a game to review it (bc I was lazy).

[2019 Recap & Review] Bunny Recaps 2019 – A year that felt like 3 years rolled into one

Hello from the future of 2020. I missed out on writing this post on time during New Years Eve, but with the help of time travel I will correct that (hopefully it works lol).

So, sorry for the delay folks but better now than never. This year’s recap post won’t have the separate pages to break up the post like last year considering how hard it was to find the page number buttons. I’ll try my best to make this post easy to read through with navigation bars.

[Mobile – Special] Quick look at… Ensemble Stars!! Music (“Only Your Stars” Demo)

Now I won’t lie, I have fallen out of love with Ensemble Stars for a year or two now. Even with my grievances with the company Happy Elements and the way Enstars is heading down now, I still want to see some good in it (though I am totally jaded by everything now, I’m not the starry eyed fan I was once).

Anyway, on November 8th, they released a demo of Ensemble Stars!! Music to the Japanese Google Play store and the App Store with only one playable song. Here’s my thoughts on the demo.

[Mobile] Mini Review – Tensei no Illuminasia Otome Yusha (Mobile Renewal)

After a long wait, Otome Yusha has now been reborn into “Tensei no Illuminasia Otome Yusha“. The game went into a 7 month maintenance since October 2018 and had experienced a lot of delays to make sure that the renewal of the mobile app will be up to standard and was released on 25th June, 2019.

I spent about a month playing it to see whats the changes and how much it was improved. In this essay I will In this post I will breakdown the new content and give my final verdict on whether the long wait for this renewal was worth it.

Edit: Please note that this intro was written back in July. Sorry for the wait!

[Anime] B-Project: Zecchou*Emotion Episode #02 (Anime Review)

I told y’all I’ll write episodic reviews for B-Pro the anime 2: Electric Boogaloo. I’m almost on time with this review, mainly because I can squeeze a little time into this especially with how easily summed up this episode can be.

So let’s take a dive in, shall we?

[Anime] B-Project: Zecchou*Emotion Episode #01 (Anime Review)

Ayyy, back at it again with B-Pro the anime. This will be my third attempt at writing episodic reviews, though no promises I’ll keep up or be on time.

Following up B-Project: Kodou*Ambitious 3 years after it’s rushed and fever-dream-like ending is the second season: B-Project: Zecchou*Emotion. Was there a need for a second season? Not really. Did anyone ask for this? Prolly.

In preparations for this season I did not rewatch the first season, mainly because I will lose my mind marathoning it again. I wrote a review for the first season but I don’t know if that’ll help me refresh my memories. Not like there was anything of substance to remember from that anime.

[2018 Recap & Review] Bunny Recaps 2018 – A lazy long, but short year

Hewwo fellow kids, its that time of the year again where I write a very lengthy posts recapping this year of our lord 2018 and hoping people will read it because it is the only post I can write my thoughts on stuff that may not be otome related. I am your host Billy Billbus Baggins and this is the year that was.
